Job Title: Events Logistics & Asset Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos

About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly organised and accountable Asset & Logistics Manager to oversee the management, tracking, and utilisation of company assets while leading logistics operations for our rentals subsidiary.
  • This role is critical to ensuring that all equipment, vehicles, and event materials are efficiently deployed, properly maintained, and accurately accounted for before, during, and after events.
  • The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing both physical assets and logistics teams in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all company assets (event equipment, furniture, tools, vehicles, etc.)
  • Track asset movement across events and locations
  • Ensure proper documentation, tagging, and accountability of all assets
  • Conduct periodic audits and reconciliation of inventory
  • Monitor asset condition and coordinate repairs, servicing, and replacements
  • Develop systems to prevent loss, damage, or misuse of company property

Logistics & Operations (Rentals Subsidiary):

  • Plan and coordinate the transportation, delivery, and return of rental items
  • Oversee loading and offloading processes for events
  • Ensure timely dispatch and retrieval of equipment for all bookings
  • Manage logistics schedules and route planning for efficiency
  • Supervise logistics staff, drivers, and handlers
  • Ensure compliance with safety and handling standards

Fleet & Vendor Coordination:

  • Oversee company vehicles, including maintenance, documentation, and usage tracking
  • Coordinate with external vendors, transporters, and suppliers when required
  • Negotiate logistics-related costs and manage vendor relationships

Team Leadership & Reporting:

  • Lead and manage logistics and warehouse teams
  • Provide regular reports on asset utilization, losses, damages, and logistics performance
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs

Requirements

  • 3 – 5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or asset management (preferably within events, rentals, or hospitality)
  • Strong organisational and inventory management skills
  • Experience managing vehicles, equipment, and warehouse operations
  • Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and basic reporting (Excel or inventory systems)
  • High level of accountability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple events simultaneously
