Direct Reports: Regional Sales Executives, Area Sales Managers, Channel Partners, and Regional Operations Staff

Job Summary

  • The National Sales Manager is responsible for driving both sales and operational excellence across all Spare Parts business within the assigned region.
  • This role combines strategic planning, sales execution, channel development, and operational oversight to ensure revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction.
  • The position requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to align regional sales and operations with the company’s overall objectives.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
 Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute regional sales and operations strategies for both 2W and 3W segments.
  • Align regional objectives with national sales and operational goals.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to adjust strategies proactively.

Sales Management:

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team to deliver volume, revenue, and market share targets.
  • Drive effective channel management and expansion across dealerships, distributors, and retail outlets.
  • Implement sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reviews.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee regional logistics, distribution, and inventory management to ensure timely product availability.
  • Monitor aftersales service quality, spare parts distribution, and customer support effectiveness.
  • Ensure operational efficiency by streamlining processes and reducing turnaround times.

Market Development:

  • Identify and develop new market opportunities in urban and rural areas for both 2W and 3W.
  • Strengthen relationships with key dealers, fleet operators, and institutional buyers.
  • Support channel development initiatives, including training and incentive programs for partners.

People Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and mentor the regional sales and operations team.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration with marketing, finance, and service teams.

Budget & Performance Management:

  • Manage regional sales and operations budgets effectively.
  • Track and report KPIs, including sales volume, market share, dealer performance, service efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure profitability through cost optimization and operational discipline.

Compliance & Standards:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Uphold the company’s brand reputation in all dealer and customer interactions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Regional sales volume achievement.
  • Regional market share growth and dealer performance.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Inventory availability and distribution efficiency.
