Job Summary

• Hilton Garden Hotel, Enugu is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Operations to oversee and optimize all hotel operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, improving profitability, and ensuring adherence to brand standards.
• This role requires a dynamic leader with strong business acumen and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of all hotel departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, service quality, and profitability
• Ensure compliance with Hilton brand standards, policies, and procedures
• Monitor financial performance, control costs, and drive revenue growth
• Lead, mentor, and develop department heads and staff to achieve high performance
• Establish and maintain exceptional guest service standards and handle escalated guest issues
• Coordinate with senior management on budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Analyze operational data and prepare reports for executive decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 1–3years’ experience in hotel operations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Proven track record of improving operational performance and guest satisfaction
• Excellent financial management and analytical skills
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
