Job Summary

• The role involves supporting the consumer lending team in evaluating, processing, and managing personal loan applications (e.g., salary loans, car loans, credit facilities).
• The program usually combines training + hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Loan Processing & Administration:

• Assist in reviewing loan applications and documentation
• Verify customer information (employment, income, credit history)
• Ensure all required documents are complete and accurate
• Support loan disbursement processes

Customer Interaction:

• Respond to customer inquiries about loan products
• Guide customers on eligibility and application requirements
• Maintain strong customer relationships

Credit Assessment Support:

• Help analyze customers’ financial capacity
• Support risk assessment using internal guidelines
• Work with senior credit analysts on loan approvals

Sales & Business Development:

• Promote consumer loan products to potential clients
• Identify new business opportunities
• Cross-sell other financial products (accounts, cards, etc.)

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure adherence to banking regulations and policies
• Maintain proper records of all loan files
• Assist with audit and reporting tasks

Requirements
Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Economics, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field)

Skills:

• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of financial/credit principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
