Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a professional, disciplined, and vigilant Security Guard to ensure the safety of our premises, guests, and staff.
  • The ideal candidate must be alert, well-presented, and capable of maintaining a secure and welcoming environment at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect security risks
  • Monitor and control access, ensuring only authorized individuals are granted entry
  • Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and incidents
  • Provide a visible and professional security presence at all times
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents or emergencies
  • Operate and monitor CCTV and other surveillance systems where applicable
  • Enforce all security protocols and instructions from management
  • Safeguard company property, personnel, and residents
  • Report any suspicious activity, security breaches, or maintenance concerns immediately

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE qualification
  • At least 3 years’ proven experience in a similar role
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong observation and reporting skills
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Ability to remain calm and respond effectively under pressure
  • Physically fit and able to stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and access control is an added advantage.

Salary
N60,000 - N70,000 monthly.
