Job Title: Head of Maintenance

Location: Gudu, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Head of Maintenance to oversee and manage all maintenance activities across our operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of company assets, including vehicles, equipment, and facility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance of all company vehicles (vans, trucks, buses)
  • Manage servicing and repairs of generators, electrical systems, and store equipment
  • Supervise maintenance of air conditioning systems and refrigeration units
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
  • Ensure minimal downtime of all operational equipment
  • Manage and coordinate internal technicians and external service providers
  • Monitor maintenance costs and control expenses effectively
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
  • Maintain proper records of repairs, servicing, and inspections.

Requirements

  • Relevant Technical certification or Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years experience in maintenance management
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance (diesel and petrol engines)
  • Hands-on experience with generators, electrical systems, ACs, and refrigeration
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple maintenance activities
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
