We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Parent Stock Production Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

• To supervise and coordinate the work of farm attendants and ensure farm activities are carried out efficiently in compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of poultry production, including feeding, drinkers and health management
• Conduct regular inspections of poultry housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Ensure proper housing conditions and manage the environment to optimize growth and productivity.
• Track and analyze production metrics such as feed conversion ratios and egg production performance.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
• Monitor and analyze poultry health, including early detection and reporting to the Veterinarian.

Technical Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related field.
• Proven experience in farm management and coordination.
• Must have 3-5 years of proven work experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of modern poultry practice
• Basic computer skills and in data entry
