Job Title: Parent Stock Production Officer
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job Summary
- To supervise and coordinate the work of farm attendants and ensure farm activities are carried out efficiently in compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of poultry production, including feeding, drinkers and health management
- Conduct regular inspections of poultry housing facilities to ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Ensure proper housing conditions and manage the environment to optimize growth and productivity.
- Track and analyze production metrics such as feed conversion ratios and egg production performance.
- Implement and enforce biosecurity measures to prevent the spread of diseases.
- Monitor and analyze poultry health, including early detection and reporting to the Veterinarian.
Technical Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related field.
- Proven experience in farm management and coordination.
- Must have 3-5 years of proven work experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of modern poultry practice
- Basic computer skills and in data entry
