Job Title: Ticketing Officer / Business Development Officer (BDO)

Description

• We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Ticketing/BDO Officer to join our dynamic team near Ikoyi, Lagos Island.
• As a key member of our staff, you'll be responsible for managing travel bookings, issuing flight tickets, and providing top-notch customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, and cancellations using GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre)
• Provide accurate travel information and assist clients with itinerary planning
• Process payments, maintain records, and ensure compliance with airline policies
• Resolve customer complaints and queries promptly
• Build relationships with airlines, travel agents, and corporate clients
• Prepare sales and booking reports, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

• OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Tourism, Travel Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
• 1 - 3 years of experience in a travel agency or airline ticketing role
• Accounting background with proficiency in financial transactions and reporting is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in GDS software (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre) and computer literacy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Sales and negotiation skills a plus
• Proximity to Ikoyi will be prioritised.
