Job Title: Kitchen Storekeeper

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head Chef / Production Supervisor

Main Function

• The Kitchen Store Keeper is responsible for managing and organizing kitchen inventory, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
• The role ensures proper storage, stock control, and timely supply of items needed for smooth kitchen operations.

Role Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and store kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Issue kitchen items to chefs and kitchen staff as needed.
• Ensure proper storage to maintain quality and prevent spoilage.
• Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all storage practices.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Basic education required; training in inventory management or hospitality is an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1–2 years experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or kitchen operations.
• Experience in hospitality or restaurant environments preferred.
