We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Grill Supervisor

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full - time
Reports to: Head Chef / Restaurant Manager
Direct Reports: Grillers

Main Function

• The Grill Supervisor oversees the grill station, ensuring high-quality food preparation, consistency, and hygiene standards.
• The role involves supervising grillers, managing workflow, and maintaining smooth operations during service.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of grillers.
• Ensure all grilled food is prepared to standard and served on time.
• Maintain consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
• Monitor and manage grill inventory and stock levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the grill station.
• Train and mentor grillers to improve performance and efficiency.
• Handle customer complaints related to grilled food professionally.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or related field is an advantage.
• Certification in food handling or culinary training preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years experience in a kitchen environment.
• At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a grill or hot kitchen station.
• Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and food safety standards.
