Job Title: IT Support Intern (NYSC)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and tech-inclined NYSC Corps Member to join our team as an IT Support Intern.
• The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining IT systems, supporting staff with technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations within the organization.
• This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in IT support within a structured work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support to staff on hardware and software issues
• Assist in setting up systems and devices for new employees
• Support installation and configuration of software applications
• Troubleshoot simple system, network, and connectivity issues
• Assist in maintaining company devices and IT assets
• Respond to and log IT support requests (service tickets)
• Support internet and network-related issues
• Ensure proper documentation of IT activities and tasks
• Assist in implementing IT policies and procedures

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of computer systems and IT support
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and common software tools
• Willingness to learn and grow in a technical role
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Background in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Basic understanding of networking and hardware
• Previous internship or hands-on IT experience
