Job Title: Accounting & Administrative Assistant
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Objectives
- Ensure accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain an organized filing and archiving system for financial and administrative documents.
- Support financial operations through timely reporting, reconciliation, and administrative tasks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:
- File, organize, and archive accounting and administrative documents in accordance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Manage the accounts payable process, including reviewing and releasing batches.
- Assist with invoice and payment processing, ensuring adherence to internal controls.
- Run accounting reports as required.
- Assist with processing employee time and expense reports.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper document control, including scanning, indexing, and archiving.
- Maintain vendor files and support vendor onboarding documentation.
- Provide administrative support to the finance department.
- Handle internal and external inquiries related to AP and administrative matters.
- Support internal and external audit requests by preparing required documents.
Other Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Report near misses and risk observations objectively and accurately.
- Comply with company security, safety, and environmental standards.
- Participate in team meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in accounting support, administrative functions, or accounts payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management tools.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial information.
Salary
N200,000 - N230,000 monthly.
