Job Title: Assistant Manager (Bar & Lounge)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and driven Assistant Manager to lead our team and take our operations to the next level.
  • As the Asst Manager – Bar & Lounge, you will oversee all aspects of daily operations, staff management, customer experience, and business performance.
  • You will play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth operations, profitability, and compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the bar/lounge
  • Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures
  • Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly

Staff Supervision:

  • Supervise bartenders, servers, and support staff
  • Assist with staff scheduling and shift coordination
  • Train new employees on service standards and policies
  • Enforce discipline, grooming, and workplace standards

Customer Service:

  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service at all times
  • Build customer relationships to encourage repeat business
  • Maintain a welcoming and safe atmosphere

Inventory & Stock Control:

  • Monitor stock levels of beverages and supplies
  • Assist in ordering and receiving inventory
  • Reduce wastage, theft, and over-pouring
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in bar/lounge or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar operations
  • Financial management and cost-control experience
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tools.
