We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Reports to: Operations/Restaurant Manager
Direct Reports: Kitchen Stewards, Kitchen Assistants, Cooks

Main Functions

• The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and production area.
• The role ensures timely preparation of food and other products, maintains quality standards, supervises production staff, and ensures compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet demand.
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages or wastage.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Work closely with management to implement process improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

• Relevant certification in food production, hospitality, or culinary arts is an advantage.

Experience:

• 2 - 4 years experience in production supervision, kitchen management, or related roles.
• Experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment preferred.
