Job Title: Senior Production Manager(Indian Expatriate)

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Production Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end production operations within a detergent manufacturing environment.
  • This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient conversion of raw materials into high-quality finished products, in line with formulation standards, regulatory requirements, and business targets.
  • This opportunity is open to Indian Expatriate professionals with proven expertise in detergent or home care manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead full-scale production operations across powder, liquid, and bar detergent lines
  • Oversee core manufacturing processes, including mixing, blending, spray drying, and packaging
  • Ensure strict compliance with GMP, quality standards, and HSE protocols
  • Optimize production planning across manpower, materials, and machinery to meet output targets
  • Monitor and control surfactant-based formulations, enzyme handling, and chemical dosing
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to maintain batch integrity, viscosity standards, pH levels, and product performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and yield optimization
  • Manage raw material utilization, including LABSA, soda ash, STPP, enzymes, and fragrances
  • Lead and develop production teams within a technical manufacturing environment
  • Ensure equipment reliability across spray towers, mixers, dosing systems, and filling lines in collaboration with Engineering

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Production output versus target
  • Batch quality compliance rate
  • Reduction in rework and material wastage
  • Efficiency of spray drying and mixing processes
  • Downtime reduction across production lines
  • Cost per unit of finished products

Requirements
Education:

  • BSc or HND in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, or related field

Experience:

  • 10–15 years’ experience in detergent, home care, or FMCG chemical manufacturing
  • Proven hands-on experience in powder, liquid, or bar detergent production
  • Strong knowledge of surfactant chemistry, formulation processes, and batch production systems

Preferred:

  • Experience in a structured FMCG or home care manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to international production and quality standards
