Job Description
The HSM shall essentially be responsible for:
- The strategic direction of sales and marketing functions in the organization.
- Oversees the creation of sustainable profitable market volume and value growth for the business and implementation of communications and marketing strategies.
- Oversees the creation of sustainable profitable market volume through execution of national, trade marketing and brand management.
- Responsible for ensuring that the market share of the company is maintained and improved upon.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.Sc/ HND in a related field.
- A professional or relevant post graduate qualification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years relevant work experience.
- Strong background in business development/sales.
- Experience in marketing and strategy/planning.
- Between the age bracket of 35years - 40years
Skills and Competencies:
- Good leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong strategic and conceptual insights.
- Good organization and planning skills.
- Good people management skills.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Good project management skills
- Good negotiation skills.
- Deep sales experience with marketing understanding is very crucial.
