The Crest Partnership - A reputable and growing full-service law firm based in Lagos invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Litigation Lawyer.The firm provides legal services across a broad range of practice areas, with particular strength in civil litigation, commercial dispute resolution, debt recovery, property-related disputes, employment matters, corporate advisory, and general legal practice. The successful candidate will be expected to play an active role in managing contentious matters and supporting the firm’s dispute resolution practice.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Associate

Location: Lagos Island Marina, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • A minimum of 3(3) years post-call experience
  • Strong background in civil and commercial litigation
  • Demonstrable ability to prepare pleadings with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience in drafting motions, applications, affidavits, written addresses, and other legal processes
  • Strong written and oral advocacy skills
  • Ability to write clearly, coherently, and persuasively
  • Practical experience in conducting trials, including examination-in-chief and cross-examination
  • Ability to manage litigation matters with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to work under pressure and within strict timelines
  • Experience in preparing appellate processes, including Notices of Appeal and Briefs of Argument, will be an added advantage
  • Good organisational, analytical, and file management skills.
