We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager / Business Development Lead

Location: Mabushi, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Sales Strategy, Revenue Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and business development plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and emerging markets to expand the company’s footprint.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Client Acquisition, Relationship Management & Retention:

  • Lead client acquisition efforts, including prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention through consistent engagement and value delivery.

Pipeline Management & Sales Operations:

  • Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to conversion, ensuring consistent deal flow.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and contracts.

Negotiation, Contracts & Deal Structuring:

  • Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and service agreements to secure profitable deals.
  • Draft, review, and finalize commercial agreements in line with company policies.
  • Ensure all business transactions comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales/business development team to achieve targets.
  • Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.

Partnerships, Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to align business strategies.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to drive business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking forums.

Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement:

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and business development updates.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, tools, and strategies for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in sales, business development, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales, client relationship management, and market expansion.
