Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and overall functionality of our property.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure all building systems, equipment, and infrastructure operate efficiently while maintaining high standards that support exceptional guest experience and seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the facilities, including public areas, and back-of-house
  • Ensure all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems are functioning optimally
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and service disruptions
  • Supervise and manage facility staff, including technicians and external contractors
  • Conduct routine inspections of the premises to ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate timely repairs and maintenance to avoid disruption to guests and operations
  • Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality service and cost-effectiveness
  • Monitor and control facility-related budgets and expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and environmental regulations
  • Oversee utilities management (power, water, waste) to ensure efficiency and cost control
  • Support renovation projects, upgrades, and space optimization initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field
  • 4 - 7 years of experience in facility management, preferably within a hospitality environment
  • Strong knowledge of hotel facility systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, etc.)
  • Proven experience managing maintenance teams and external vendors
  • Good understanding of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems.
