Job Title: Finance & Investment Executive

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a highly driven and commercially astute Finance & Investment Executive with direct responsibility for originating, pursuing, and securing capital, while ensuring strong financial management, compliance, and operational discipline across Berith Shield Holdings and its subsidiaries.
  • This role is fundamentally capital-facing and execution-driven, requiring someone who can actively engage investors, structure funding opportunities, and close transactions, while maintaining the financial integrity required to attract and sustain institutional capital.
  • This is a role for a deal-oriented finance professional who combines strong financial expertise with the ability to drive outcomes in capital raising and investment execution.

Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising & Investment Execution:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of fundraising initiatives across Berith Shield Holdings and its subsidiaries
  • Identify, develop, and actively pursue capital from:
  • Institutional investors
  • Private equity and venture capital firms
  • Angel investors and high-net-worth individuals
  • Development finance institutions (DFIs)
  • Grant-making and philanthropic organizations
  • Build and manage a robust capital pipeline, ensuring consistent deal flow and funding opportunities
  • Drive investor engagement including outreach, meetings, follow-ups, and relationship management
  • Prepare, refine, and present key investment materials:
  • Financial models
  • Pitch decks
  • Investment memoranda
  • Business cases
  • Lead and support due diligence processes, negotiations, and transaction execution
  • Work closely with leadership to structure deals aligned with long-term strategic objectives
  • Explore and implement innovative funding structures including equity, debt, hybrid instruments, and non-dilutive capital

Financial Management & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate financial records across the holding company and subsidiaries
  • Prepare periodic financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Consolidate group financials for internal decision-making and investor reporting

Accounting, Compliance & Regulatory Filings:

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of:
  • Tax returns
  • VAT and statutory obligations
  • Maintain full compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
  • Ensure all financial documentation is well-structured, complete, and audit-ready

Financial Analysis & Strategic Support:

  • Conduct financial and investment analysis to support business and expansion decisions
  • Evaluate project viability, expected returns, and associated risks
  • Provide insights on capital allocation and financial efficiency
  • Support strategic planning with data-driven financial inputs

Investor Relations & Reporting:

  • Maintain structured communication with current and prospective investors
  • Support the preparation of investor updates and performance reports
  • Ensure transparency, accuracy, and consistency in financial disclosures

Key Requirements
Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • ACA / ACCA (completed or in progress) is highly preferred
  • CFA (Level I or higher) is an added advantage

Experience:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in finance, investment, corporate finance, or related fields
  • Demonstrated involvement in capital raising, investor engagement, or deal execution
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, compliance, and financial management

Core Competencies:

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Clear understanding of capital markets and investment structures
  • Ability to originate and manage investor relationships
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory requirements
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools
