We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Volunteer and Mentor Management Associate 

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Volunteer and Mentor Management Associate will ensure effective end-to-end coordination and delivery of FATE Foundation’s volunteer management strategies, and the provision, coordination and management of the FATE Mentoring program in line with the FATE School’s strategic direction and focus areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a comprehensive volunteer strategy covering faculty, advisors/consultants, mentors, content contributors, and related roles, ensuring alignment with FATE Foundation’s objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date volunteer records across all databases, CRM systems, and digital platforms, and ensure the provision of relevant tools, materials, and guidance to support effective service delivery.
  • Provide ongoing coordination, support, and supervision to volunteers, ensuring timely resolution of queries and sustained engagement.
  • Design and implement volunteer engagement, recognition, and communication initiatives to strengthen commitment and keep volunteers informed of organizational activities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Social Sciences, Human Resources, Education, or related field from an accredited institution. 
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in administrative or program support roles
  • Ability to effectively engage and manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong passion and interest in the development/non-profit sector.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
