Job Title: Accounting Intern

Location: Maryland, Lagos
Employment Type: Internship (6 months – 12 months)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm

About the Role

• There is an opening for an Accounting Internship role in a company for current Accounting students or recent graduates who are yet to begin their National Youth Service (NYSC).
• This internship provides hands-on exposure to day-to-day stock taking, accounting operations and financial reporting in a professional corporate environment.
• You will work alongside an experienced team, gain practical skills, and build a foundation for a career in accounting and finance..

What We’re Looking For

• Current student of Accounting (HND, BSc, or similar) or recent graduate in Accounting/Finance awaiting NYSC.
• Strong interest in building a career in accounting/finance.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with bookkeeping concepts.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, sorting/filtering, basic functions).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, or similar) is an advantage but not required.
• Attention to detail, high level of accuracy and numerical aptitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Honesty, integrity, and willingness to learn.
• Able to commit to the full internship duration (6–12 months) and the stated working hours.
