Job Title: Internal Control Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Description

  • Our client is seeking to hire a competent and detail-oriented Internal Control Officer to strengthen internal processes, ensure compliance, and improve accountability across its pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate internal control systems across pharmacy operations.
  • Conduct routine checks on cash handling, sales records, and reconciliation.
  • Review inventory records and stock movement to prevent losses and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
  • Carry out periodic internal audits on financial and operational activities.
  • Investigate irregularities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper documentation and authorization of transactions.
  • Prepare internal control and audit reports for management review.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–3 years experience in internal control, audit, or finance (experience in retail/pharmacy is an added advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly
