We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Accounting, MIS, Budget:
- Responsible for cost estimation as per procurement plan and preparing the actual costing for each shipment.
- Daily reports monitoring to ensure all procurement, direct expenses are within budget.
- Ensure all the business accounts of WAF region are accurate and updated - account finalization, review, analysis, provisioning, tax planning and year end compliances.
- MIS reporting as per management requirement related to accounts, procurement, shipments, Customs clearing etc.
- Introduce and implement necessary formats where required.
- Budget preparation for all the WAF centers and ensuring budget control, variance analysis.
- Govern and report Annual Operating Plan (AOP) on weekly/monthly/quarterly basis.
- Present monthly financial summary, analysis insight in a crisp, meaningful manner through MIS/dashboards to the business with a detailed working.
- Assist in building financial decks & presentations for the purpose of the Board / Investor review.
- Develop & mentor team of able subordinates to enable achieving deliverables.
Banking & Treasury:
- Fund raising from local banks- pre-sanction & post disbursement documentation & compliances.
- Weekly fund flow preparation. Ensure that adequate fund allocation & flow is available for smooth operations.
Local Compliances:
- Tax planning basis budgets at start of each year, Handling & closing tax dept audits with optimization of Statutory Compliances & local Account finalization.
- Handling local Auditors.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Should possess CA/CPA/ACCA /MBA qualification in Finance from a reputed institute
Experience and Skill Sets:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Financial Controller in West Africa (Nigeria & francophone) in commodities or trading business.
- Minimum Total relevant work experience of 15 Years
