We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Nursery Teacher

Locations: Rupokwu, Rumokoro and Sars Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A teacher is responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing students’ progress, and creating a positive learning environment that supports students’ academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lesson Planning and Delivery
• Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
• Use different teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners.

Classroom Management:

• Maintain discipline and order in the classroom.
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

Student Assessment:

• Evaluate students’ performance through tests, assignments, and exams.
• Provide feedback and support to help students improve.

Record Keeping:

• Keep accurate records of students’ attendance, performance, and behavior.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress to parents and school authorities.

Student Support:

• Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Offer guidance, counseling, and academic support where needed.

Curriculum Implementation:

• Follow and implement the approved syllabus and educational policies.
• Participate in curriculum development when required.

Extracurricular Activities:

• Organize or participate in school activities such as clubs, sports, and cultural events.
• Professional Development
• Attend workshops, seminars, and training programs to improve teaching skills.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of NCE, B.Ed., or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of the subject area
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Classroom management skills

Work Environment:

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 per month.
