Job Title: Inverter Installation, Maintenance & Commissioning Supervisor

Job Description

  • We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Solar Inverter Installation Lead to oversee inverter installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, and installation team performance.
  • This role combines technical expertise, field leadership, and quality control to ensure every system installed meets the highest operational and safety standards.
  • This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for installation quality, system commissioning, and after-sales technical performance.

Key Responsibilities
On-Site Installation, Commissioning & Troubleshooting:

  • Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot:
    • Off-grid and hybrid inverter systems
    • Residential and small commercial solar energy storage systems
  • Technical responsibilities include:
    • Inverter parameter configuration
    • Lithium battery and BMS communication setup
    • Grid / Generator / PV switching logic configuration
    • System stability testing and load performance verification
  • Diagnose and resolve issues such as:
    • Inverter alarms and system faults
    • Communication errors between components
    • Incorrect wiring and parameter mismatches
    • Power loss, instability, and performance issues.

Installation Team Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise local:
    • Inverter installation engineers
    • Technicians and electricians
  • Ensure strict compliance with:
    • Installation SOPs
    • Commissioning procedures
    • Electrical safety standards
  • Maintain installation quality standards, including:
    • Correct wiring and cable sizing
    • Proper grounding and electrical protection
    • Clean, safe, and professional installation practices.

Technical Support & Customer Engagement:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to:
    • Customers and project stakeholders
    • Internal sales teams
    • Partner installers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Explaining system operation and best practices to clients
  • Managing after-sales technical issues and field support
  • Assisting with technical training for installers and partners.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate technical documentation:
    • Commissioning reports
    • Fault analysis and maintenance reports
    • Project handover documentation
  • Provide feedback to improve:
    • Installation processes
    • Product performance
    • System compatibility and field reliability.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc Degree with 2-4 years experience.
  • Strong experience with off-grid and hybrid inverter systems
  • Hands-on experience with lithium battery systems (48V / 51.2V preferred)
  • Proven experience in residential and small commercial solar-storage installations
  • Ability to independently manage full installation and commissioning workflows
  • Demonstrated capability to lead installation teams and coordinate field activities.

N300,000 - N500,000 / Month.
