Job Title: Treasury Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Treasury Manager to oversee the bank’s liquidity, funding, and financial risk management functions.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure optimal cash flow, maintain regulatory compliance, and support the bank’s financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring and liquidity planning.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of funds and maintain adequate liquidity levels at all times.
  • Oversee investment activities and manage the bank’s portfolio in line with risk appetite.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks, including interest rate and liquidity risks.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and financial reports for management decision-making.
  • Maintain relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Oversee fund transfers, settlements, and reconciliation processes.
  • Support strategic financial planning and budgeting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related role within the banking or financial services sector (microfinance experience is an added advantage).
  • Strong understanding of treasury management, liquidity planning, and financial markets.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or ACT.
  • Experience working in a microfinance bank or similar financial institution.
