We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Iyana Ipaja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time Onsite (Office-based)
Working Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Job Summary

  • The Project Engineer will coordinate and manage civil and structural projects at commercial and residential level from the office, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.
  • This role does not involve site visitation and focuses on project planning, coordination, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review project plans, schedules, work programmes, and resource plans for civil and structural projects.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs, and coordinate design clarifications with architects and structural engineers.
  • Liaise remotely with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
  • Track project milestones, budgets, and variations, and prepare periodic project reports and documentation.
  • Ensure that project deliverables comply with relevant standards, codes, and HSE requirements through coordination with site personnel.​

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related fields
  • 7 to 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer
  • Experience managing or supporting civil and structural projects at commercial and residential level.
  • Strong understanding of structural drawings, construction methods, and project documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools is an advantage.​
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to work full-time onsite at the Iyana Ipaja office.
