Job Summary

  • We are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnership (Adashe) to lead the growth and commercial success of Adashe, our digital cooperative and savings platform designed to expand financial inclusion for underserved communities.
  • The Senior Vice President of Sales and Partnership (Adashe) will be responsible for driving business strategy, building strategic partnerships, and scaling adoption across Nigeria, particularly within the informal sector and community-based financial networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall business growth, market expansion, and revenue strategy for the Adashe product.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including agent networks, cooperative partnerships, market associations, and institutional collaborations.
  • Build and manage a high-performing business development and growth team.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, cooperatives, market unions, regulators, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Drive key business performance metrics, including customer acquisition, transaction volumes, user retention, and revenue growth.
  • Identify new revenue opportunities, pricing strategies, and expansion channels.
  • Work closely with product, technology, and operations teams to align product development with market needs.
  • Lead market intelligence and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent Adashe in high-level negotiations, partnerships, and industry engagements.
  • Ensure business operations comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
  • 7–10 years of experience in business development, growth, fintech, banking, cooperative management, or digital platforms.
  • Strong experience working with the informal sector, such as market associations, cooperatives, trade groups, community savings schemes, or agent networks.
  • Proven ability to build distribution networks and scale adoption in grassroots or community markets.
  • Good understanding of financial services, digital payments, and financial inclusion within Nigeria or similar African markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and strategic partnerships.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
