Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth and partnerships for our public sector fintech solutions, including digital revenue collection and financial management platforms for government institutions.
  • The role involves identifying opportunities within government agencies, building strategic relationships, and driving the adoption of our fintech solutions across federal, state, and local government institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • dentify and develop business opportunities within federal, state, and local government institutions.
  • Lead efforts to secure government partnerships and contracts for the company’s fintech and revenue management solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and public sector stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver product presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to government agencies and decision-makers.
  • Manage the end-to-end business development process, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and contract closure.
  • Monitor public sector procurement opportunities, tenders, and policy developments relevant to fintech and digital government services.
  • Collaborate with product and technical teams to ensure solutions meet government requirements and compliance standards.
  • Track and report on sales pipeline, partnerships, and revenue performance.
  • Represent the company at government forums, conferences, and industry events related to digital government and financial technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience in business development, enterprise sales, or partnerships within fintech, banking, technology, or government consulting.
  • Strong understanding of public sector processes, procurement systems, and government stakeholder engagement in Nigeria.
  • Experience working with government digital transformation, revenue collection systems, or payment platforms is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with senior government officials and decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong network within the public sector or government ecosystem is an advantage..
