We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lawyer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Client Advisory & Legal Support: Provide day-to-day legal advice to clients on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, ensuring solutions are practical and business-oriented.
  • Legal Drafting & Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including contracts, agreements, policies, and legal opinions.
  • Corporate & Regulatory Compliance: Assist clients with company incorporation, post-incorporation filings, regulatory registrations, and ongoing compliance with relevant authorities (e.g., CAC, FIRS, industry regulators).
  • Legal Research & Opinion Writing: Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal opinions, memos, and advisory notes on complex legal issues.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as a primary contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring timely delivery of legal services.
  • Litigation Support: Assist in dispute resolution processes including drafting court processes, preparing briefs, liaising with counsel, and attending court proceedings where necessary.
  • Business Development Support: Contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, supporting pitch development, and participating in client acquisition efforts.
  • Policy & Compliance Framework Development: Support clients in developing internal policies such as data protection, AML/CFT, employment policies, and corporate governance frameworks.
  • Transaction Support: Assist in structuring and executing transactions including due diligence, reviewing transaction documents, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Operational & Administrative Support: Support internal firm operations including case file management, documentation systems, billing support, and maintaining legal records.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 Monthly.
