Description

• A Hair Stylist is needed ,someone is a versatile beauty professional licensed to provide a full range of hair services.
• The role is heavily focused on transforming the hair's appearance through chemical and mechanical means.

Core Responsibilities

• Cutting & Shaping: Using shears, razors, and thinning shears to create specific silhouettes and styles.
• Color Theory: Mixing and applying permanent, semi-permanent, and highlights/balayage while understanding the chemical reactions on various hair types.
• Chemical Processing: Performing perms, relaxers, and keratin treatments to alter the hair's natural texture.
• Heat Styling: Expert use of blow-dryers, flat irons, and curling wands to achieve a finished look.
• Scalp Health: Identifying conditions like dandruff or dermatitis and recommending professional treatments.

Key Qualifications

• Licensing: Requires a full Cosmetology license in most regions.
• Artistic Vision: Ability to match a hairstyle to a client's face shape and lifestyle.
• Chemistry Knowledge: Understanding pH balance and how different products interact with the hair cuticle.

Salary
N50,000 - N150,000 monthly.
