We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Victoria Island / Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Account Officer to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in reporting, and support overall financial operations.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience in a retail or supermarket environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reports
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Monitor income, expenses, and cash flow
  • Prepare financial statements and reports
  • Handle payables and receivables management
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts.

  • Accuracy of Financial Records
  • Timeliness of Reports
  • Reconciliation Efficiency
  • Error Reduction Rate
  • Compliance with Financial Standards.

Requirements

  • OND/HND/BSc in Accounting or related field
  • 2–4 years experience as an Account Officer (preferably in retail/supermarket)
  • Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must reside within VI, Lekki, or nearby areas.
