Job Title: Floor Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Floor Manager to oversee daily operations and manage a large workforce of approximately 100 employees.
  • The ideal candidate will ensure smooth floor operations, maintain high service standards, and drive team productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coordinate, and lead a team of 100+ staff across daily operations
  • Monitor workflow, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards
  • Develop and manage staff schedules, shifts, and task allocation
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve escalated issues promptly
  • Conduct regular staff briefings, training, and performance evaluations
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, health & safety, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with senior management to improve operational performance
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports
  • Handle conflict resolution and maintain a positive work environment
  • Ensure proper stock handling, inventory control, and loss prevention (if applicable)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration or related field
  • 3–5 years’ experience as a Floor Manager or similar role
  • Proven experience supervising large teams (80–100+ staff)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, or manufacturing environments
  • Strong people management and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of operational best practices and workforce management
