We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounting / Finance Assistant 

Location: Mushin, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 8am - 6pm from Monday - Saturday (Alternate Saturdays)

Job Responsibilities

  • Review daily report from all outlets including cash receipt office.
  • Compare daily reports from HQ and outlets with invoices raised, identify, investigate variances and report to ED.
  • Monitor and post approved credit notes, debit notes, discounts, customer refund.
  • Daily reconciliation of POS ledger on Tally and journal posting.
  • Daily posting / maintaining / reconciling banks like UBA, Zenith 153 etc.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree / HND or even OND in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a retail or similar industry.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally), attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively especially with outlets like an independent auditor.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of Nigerian accounting regulations and tax laws.
  • Language: Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages may be beneficial for effective communication.
