Job Title: Operations & Circular Economy Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• The Operations & Circular Economy Officer will play a key role in leading and scaling operational systems and sustainability initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving impact, managing field operations, and fostering strategic partnerships within the environmental sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Team Lead for a flagship environmental project.
• Oversee daily operations and coordinate field activities, including recycling initiatives.
• Develop and implement sustainability and circular economy strategies.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies, organisations, and local communities.
• Represent the organisation at meetings, seminars, conferences, and related events.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare impact reports.
• Drive innovation in waste valorisation and circular economy practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc. or HND qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations and / or sustainability-related roles.
• Strong passion for environmental sustainability and community development.
• Experience in proposal and grant writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (presentation skills).
• Strong leadership and project management abilities.
• Good understanding of waste management systems and circular economy principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
