We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Locations: Gaduwa, Jabi, Zone 6, Maitama, and Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Responsible for transporting packages, food, or documents from one location to another safely, quickly, and efficiently using a motorcycle or bike.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver items
  Collect goods from restaurants, warehouses, or offices and deliver them to customers.
• Follow delivery schedules
  Ensure timely deliveries based on assigned routes or app instructions.
• Verify orders
  Confirm that the correct items are picked up and delivered to the right recipient.
• Handle payments (if required)
  Collect cash or process payments on delivery.
• Maintain communication
  Stay in contact with dispatchers or customers regarding delivery status.
• Ensure bike maintenance
  Keep the motorcycle in good working condition (fuel, oil, cleanliness, basic repairs).
• Follow traffic laws and safety rules
  Ride responsibly and use protective gear like helmets.
• Keep delivery records
  Track completed deliveries, receipts, or logs (manual or via mobile apps).

Requirements

• Valid rider’s license
• Experience riding a motorcycle
• Minimum education (secondary school level)
• Ability to read maps.

Skills & Qualities:

• Good knowledge of local roads and routes
• Time management and punctuality
• Basic smartphone/app usage (e.g., GPS, delivery apps)
• Customer service skills
• Physical stamina and alertness
• Problem-solving (e.g., handling wrong addresses or delays).
