Job Title: Contract & Procurement Specialist

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

  • This role involves negotiating contracts with vendors, managing commercial agreements, and sourcing and pre-qualifying suitable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement contract strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Manage end-to-end tender processes, including documentation and bidder evaluation
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial terms and risk allocation
  • Coordinate contract execution, tracking, and compliance with timelines
  • Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and reporting
  • Source, pre-qualify, and evaluate vendors and suppliers
  • Conduct supplier due diligence and comparative analysis of bids
  • Monitor vendor performance and support resolution of contractual issues
  • Oversee procurement processes from sourcing to delivery (procure-to-pay)
  • Ensure purchase orders align with budgets and agreed terms
  • Verify quality of goods/services and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory trends and support the availability of critical materials
  • Drive cost optimisation and ensure value-for-money procurement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and project needs

Person Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree/HND (CIPS or relevant certification is an advantage)
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in contracts and procurement
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills

Annual Net Remuneration

  • N5,500,000 - N9,000,000 Annually.
