Job Title: Shortlet Property Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and hands-on Shortlet Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our shortlet apartment.
  • The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder who can manage guest experience, maintain the property, and handle basic technical issues independently.
  • This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of ensuring the property remains in excellent condition while delivering a seamless experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities
Property Management & Maintenance:

  • Oversee the daily upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure the property is in top condition
  • Handle basic repairs and maintenance (plumbing, electrical, minor fixes)
  • Coordinate with external technicians for major repairs when necessary

Guest Management:

  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve complaints professionally
  • Ensure a smooth and pleasant stay experience for all guests

Operations & Coordination

  • Monitor bookings and occupancy schedules
  • Ensure the apartment is properly prepared before each guest arrival
  • Manage supplies, utilities, and inventory (toiletries, cleaning items, etc.)
  • Liaise with cleaning staff and service providers

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure the safety and security of the property at all times
  • Monitor guest usage and ensure adherence to house rules

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1–2 years experience in property management, hospitality, or a related role
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of responsibility, diligence, and attention to detail
  • Must be willing to reside in the provided accommodation (Victoria Island)
