We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Location: Lagos
Project Duration: 10 Weeks

About the Role

  • Structured Resource Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager (E&I) to lead and deliver a short-term Electrical & Instrumentation project.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project planning, execution, coordination, and delivery, ensuring the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the E&I project from mobilization to commissioning
  • Develop and manage the project execution plan and schedule
  • Coordinate site activities including:
    • Cable installation and termination
    • Instrument installation and calibration
    • Testing and commissioning
  • Supervise and direct:
    • Site supervisors
    • Engineers
    • Technicians and subcontractors
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with timeline and milestones
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the client
  • Conduct and lead:
    • Kick-off meetings
    • Progress review meetings
  • Ensure strict compliance with:
    • HSE requirements
    • Quality standards (ITP, QA/QC procedures)
  • Manage project risks, issues, and change requests
  • Review and approve:
    • Method statements
    • Material submittals
    • Technical documentation
  • Oversee procurement and ensure timely availability of materials
  • Prepare and submit:
    • Weekly progress reports
    • Project updates
    • Final project documentation and handover dossier

Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8–12 years experience in E&I projects (oil & gas experience strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end E&I project execution
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Electrical systems
    • Industrial instrumentation
    • Testing and commissioning processes
  • Ability to interpret:
    • Electrical drawings
    • Loop diagrams
    • P&IDs

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational ability
  • Good stakeholder and client management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good reporting and communication skills

Preferred Certifications:

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)
  • HSE Certification (Level 1–3)
  • Relevant technical certifications

Project Details:

  • Duration: 10 weeks (contract role)
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
  • Must be willing to work on-site full-time
