We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Facility Officer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of the organization’s buildings and infrastructure. T
  • he role involves coordinating repairs, managing service providers, and maintaining a safe and functional work environment.

  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and utilities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Conduct routine inspections and implement preventive maintenance plans
  • Supervise vendors, contractors, and third-party service providers
  • Manage facility-related budgets and control costs
  • Coordinate cleaning, security, and waste management services
  • Respond to facility issues and emergencies in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and service activities
  • Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

Qualification

  • Minimum of OND / HND / B.Sc. in Engineering, Estate Management, Facility Management, or related field

Other Requirements:

  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours when required
  • Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
