Job Title: Business Development Associate

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a Business Development Associate to support revenue growth while strengthening the company’s brand presence and client engagement.
  • This role combines business development and strategic marketing, focusing on generating leads, supporting sales conversions, and executing marketing initiatives across Jivagate’s service offerings, including Marketing Communications, Website Design, and Corporate Training solutions.
  • The role also supports client relationships and ensures seamless service delivery across engagements, business development & client service.

Responsibilties

  • Identify, qualify, and support the conversion of new business opportunities
  • Generate leads through outreach, referrals, partnerships, and networking
  • Support discovery sessions to understand client needs, budgets, and timelines
  • Assist in positioning Jivagate’s services as integrated business solutions
  • Participate in sales conversations, presentations, and follow-ups
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and scopes using approved templates
  • Support management of the sales pipeline and CRM updates
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and experience
  • Support onboarding of new clients and manage ongoing client relationships
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and quality service delivery
  • Handle client feedback, concerns, and requests professionally, Marketing & Communications
  • Develop and execute marketing plans across digital channels
  • Create and manage content for social media, email, and other platforms
  • Support brand positioning and messaging consistency across all touchpoints
  • Assist in campaign planning for services and product offerings
  • Track and report on marketing performance and engagement metrics
  • Support event communications, partnerships, and promotional activities
  • Collaborate internally to refine messaging based on market feedback.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's / Master`s Degree
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in business development, marketing, or communications
  • Experience in service-based or consulting environments preferred
  • Strong writing, content creation, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting sales processes and managing client relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and digital marketing platforms. What We Are Looking For

  • Backgrounds limited to retail or FMCG sales without B2B exposure.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary (Based on Experience) - N200,000 - N300,000 monthly. 
  • Performance-based commission.
