We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: POS Sales Executive

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The POS Sales Executive is responsible for driving the acquisition, deployment, and usage of Point of Sale (POS) terminals to merchants.
  • The role focuses on identifying business opportunities, onboarding new merchants, and ensuring consistent transaction growth through POS channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new merchants for POS terminal deployment
  • Promote the bank’s POS products and services to prospective clients
  • Conduct market visits to generate leads and build a strong merchant pipeline
  • Onboard merchants and ensure proper documentation and KYC compliance
  • Install and deploy POS terminals at merchant locations
  • Train merchants on POS usage, troubleshooting, and best practices
  • Monitor transaction volumes and drive increased usage of deployed terminals
  • Provide after-sales support and maintain strong merchant relationships
  • Resolve merchant complaints and escalate technical issues when necessary
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and performance metrics
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–3 years of sales experience (preferably in banking, fintech, or FMCG)
  • Basic understanding of POS systems and electronic payment solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets
  • Good knowledge of local markets and business environments.
