We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Floor Manager

Location: Mainland , Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities
Floor Operations Management:

  • Oversee all front-of-house activities during service hours
  • Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen, bar, and service teams
  • Monitor service flow, timing, and table management

Staff Training & Development:

  • Design and implement training programs for waitstaff and runners
  • Conduct onboarding training for new hires (service standards, etiquette, SOPs)
  • Organize regular refresher training sessions and drills
  • Train staff on:
    • Menu knowledge (food & beverages)
    • Fine dining service techniques
    • Customer engagement and upselling

Service Quality & Standards:

  • Ensure all staff adhere to fine dining service standards
  • Monitor food and beverage presentation before service
  • Maintain consistency in service delivery across all shifts

Customer Experience:

  • Ensure guests receive a premium and personalized dining experience
  • Handle complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Engage with VIP guests and ensure satisfaction

Staff Supervision & Discipline:

  • Supervise waiters, runners, and hostesses during shifts
  • Enforce grooming, punctuality, and professionalism
  • Conduct pre-shift briefings (menu updates, reservations, service focus)

Reservation & Floor Coordination:

  • Manage seating arrangements and guest flow
  • Coordinate with hostess on reservations and walk-ins
  • Ensure efficient table turnover without compromising service quality

Sales & Upselling:

  • Train and encourage staff on upselling techniques
  • Support achieving daily sales targets
  • Promote signature dishes, cocktails, and events

Ambiance & Presentation:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and lounge areas
  • Monitor lighting, music, and overall guest atmosphere
  • Ensure proper table setup according to fine dining standards

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

  • Provide feedback reports on staff performance and training outcomes
  • Track improvements and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions
  • Communicate operational issues to the Operations Manager.
