Job Title: Engineering Lead

Summary
- We are looking for experienced engineering lead to take full ownership of our technical platforms payments, USSD, backend systems, and infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Complete and stabilise Nigeria payment integrations in production
- Conduct a full assessment of our USSD flows, website performance, APIs, and databases
- Optimise systems for increased traffic ahead of our phase 2 nationwide outreach
- Begin payment integrations for additonal markets beyond Nigeria Establish engineering standards, code review, deployment discipline, and incident response
- Lead and manage the engineering team to execute assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as an Engineering Lead or Senior Backend Engineer
- Hands-on experience with payment integrations
- Strong knowledge of USSD platforms and high- traffic system optimisation
- Ability to work independently and enforce delivery standards across a team
- Experience in fintech or agritech is a strond advantage.
