We are recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Work Schedule: Full-time; shift-based schedule (details to be discussed during interview).

Role Summary

  • We are hiring a proactive, firm, and service-focused Supervisor to actively manage daily floor operations.
  • The Supervisor will enforce standards, correct staff in real time, and ensure no customer is left unattended—while maintaining full accountability for team performance and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Floor supervision: Stay present on the floor, monitor service flow, and ensure smooth operations throughout each shift.
  • Standards enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with service standards, hygiene/safety rules, dress code, and SOPs.
  • Real-time coaching & correction: Correct staff immediately when standards drop; coach on the spot to prevent repeat issues.
  • Customer attention: Ensure every customer is welcomed, attended to promptly, and supported through to completion of service.
  • Shift execution: Run shift briefings, assign stations/duties, manage rotations and break times, and ensure adequate coverage.
  • Escalation handling: Resolve customer complaints quickly and professionally; escalate major issues to the Manager.
  • Team accountability: Track punctuality, attendance, conduct, and performance; document incidents and follow up.
  • Quality control: Check cleanliness, presentation, readiness of service areas, and overall guest experience.
  • Communication & handover: Maintain clear communication with the Manager and other teams; complete shift handover notes.
  • Basic reporting: Submit daily shift reports (issues, customer feedback, staff performance, stock/maintenance concerns).

Success Measures (First 30–60 Days)

  • Faster response time to customers; fewer instances of customers waiting unattended.
  • Visible improvement in staff discipline, professionalism, and adherence to standards.
  • Reduced complaints and smoother shift flow.
  • Consistent shift briefings, duty allocation, and reliable handovers.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years experience in a supervisory role (hospitality, restaurant, events, facility operations, or similar).
  • Strong people-management skills with the confidence to enforce rules respectfully.
  • Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work on-site and on a shift schedule.
  • Basic phone/computer skills for reporting (WhatsApp, Google Sheets/Excel is a plus).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supervising frontline teams and managing service standards.
  • Familiarity with checklists, SOPs, and shift reporting.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
