Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Role Summary

• Antoniette Gardens is hiring courteous, energetic, and professional Waiters/Waitresses with an experience of 4 years in a high end restaurant to deliver prompt and attentive service to all customers.
• You will follow work instructions, maintain your assigned position, and ensure every guest is properly attended to from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest welcome & seating support: Greet customers warmly, guide them appropriately, and ensure they are comfortable.
• Order taking: Take accurate food/drink orders, confirm preferences, and communicate clearly with the bar/kitchen.
• Service delivery: Serve orders promptly and professionally; check back to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assigned position discipline: Stay at your assigned station/section, monitor tables, and respond quickly to customer needs.
• Customer attention: Ensure no guest is left unattended; proactively refill water, clear plates, and offer assistance.
• Product knowledge: Know the menu, specials, and availability; make helpful recommendations.
• Cleanliness & presentation: Maintain clean tables, service areas, and personal grooming standards throughout the shift.
• Teamwork: Support colleagues during busy periods and follow instructions from Supervisors/Managers.
• Complaint handling: Respond politely to concerns and escalate issues to the Supervisor/Manager when needed.
• End-of-shift duties: Complete closing tasks (cleaning, resetting tables, stock checks) as assigned.

Success Measures (First 30 Days)

• Customers are attended to quickly with minimal waiting time.
• Accurate orders with fewer errors/returns.
• Consistent station discipline (stays in assigned position and follows instructions).
• Positive customer feedback and professional conduct.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE (OND is a plus) with 2-4 years experience.
• Prior experience as a waiter/waitress is an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills and a polite, customer-first attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good personal hygiene, neat appearance, and punctuality.
• Willingness to work on-site and on a shift schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in restaurants, lounges, hotels, or event venues.
• Basic understanding of POS/cash handling (if applicable).

Work Schedule:

• Full-time; shift-based schedule (details to be discussed during interview).
