Job Summary

  • OPay is seeking a dynamic and creative Product Trainer to drive product knowledge, marketing alignment, and adoption across internal teams and external partners.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strong training expertise with marketing insight and design skills to develop engaging, visually compelling, and easy-to-understand training materials.
  • This role requires the ability to translate complex product features into clear value propositions that support sales performance and brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver structured training programs on OPay’s products and services to sales teams, customer service teams, agents, and partners.
  • Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, product manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and marketing collaterals.
  • Support product launches by aligning training content with marketing campaigns and product positioning strategies.
  • Simplify technical product features into practical, customer-focused messaging.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to stay updated on new features and enhancements.
  • Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Provide field support, including product demonstrations and practical sessions when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in product training, marketing, brand communication, or a similar role (preferably within fintech or financial services).
  • Strong background in marketing strategy, product positioning, and campaign support.
  • Proven experience in designing training materials and visual content.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.-
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • High level of creativity, organization, and attention to detail.
