Job Summary
- OPay is seeking a dynamic and creative Product Trainer to drive product knowledge, marketing alignment, and adoption across internal teams and external partners.
- The ideal candidate will combine strong training expertise with marketing insight and design skills to develop engaging, visually compelling, and easy-to-understand training materials.
- This role requires the ability to translate complex product features into clear value propositions that support sales performance and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver structured training programs on OPay’s products and services to sales teams, customer service teams, agents, and partners.
- Develop engaging training materials, including presentations, product manuals, e-learning modules, videos, and marketing collaterals.
- Support product launches by aligning training content with marketing campaigns and product positioning strategies.
- Simplify technical product features into practical, customer-focused messaging.
- Conduct onboarding sessions for new hires and refresher training for existing staff.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to stay updated on new features and enhancements.
- Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Provide field support, including product demonstrations and practical sessions when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Design, or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in product training, marketing, brand communication, or a similar role (preferably within fintech or financial services).
- Strong background in marketing strategy, product positioning, and campaign support.
- Proven experience in designing training materials and visual content.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.-
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of creativity, organization, and attention to detail.
