We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Projects - Construction Coordinator III

Location: Ohaji, Imo
Employment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: Standard - 5 days on / 2 days off - 5 days on / 2 days off

Job Description

  • The Construction Coordinator is responsible for construction planning, coordinating construction input, and communicating with Construction Management. Establishes the Construction Planning Program (CPP) and seeks alignment of the planning scope with the Construction Advisor and subsequently with the Construction Support Manager.
  • Manages assigned projects and the implementation contractors involved to ensure that project deliverables are completed for RFI, meet quality requirements and schedules, and are delivered in line with project requirements.

Tasks and Responsibilities
In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 Construction Coordinator will:

  • Be able to identify issues, problems, and opportunities; make timely decisions; develop appropriate and innovative solutions; and seek assistance when required.
  • Be able to work on multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Be able to work effectively in small to large multidisciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

  • B.Sc / M.Sc Degree in Engineering
  • Good coordination and interface capabilities
  • Previous experience in a closely related position and/or project environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required
  • A person of integrity who is trusted by others and consistently honors commitments
