We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: POS / Agency Merchant Specialist  

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Merchant acquisition and relationship management.
• Onboard and Train merchants
• Ensure proper setup of POS terminals and continuous usage.
• Ensure zero downtime of terminals.
• Act as the primary contact for support and issue resolution
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance.
• Performance monitoring and tracking merchant activity, transaction volumes, and revenue targets.
• Identify underperforming merchants and implement improvement strategies.
• Ensure merchants meet KPIs and service standards
• Ensure merchants comply with regulatory and company policies (e.g., KYC/AML guidelines)
• Monitor and report suspicious or fraudulent activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of merchants.
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and transaction targets.
• Gather feedback on competitor activities and market trends.
• Provide insights to improve service delivery.

Requirements

• The candidate must have a BSc in Banking & Finance or a related discipline with 4 – 6 years’ work experience in a similar role in the banking sector.
